SGH Aseer offered life-saving treatment to a patient suffering from a ventricular septal defect

life-saving

A 60-year-old patient was admitted into the Emergency Department at Saudi German Hospital Aseer with a ventricular septal defect, commonly known as a hole in the heart. The patient required immediate surgical treatment as the death rate in such cases is high.

The hospital’s Cardiothoracic Surgery team is highly skilled in dealing with such cases and successfully performed an eight-hour-long heart surgery to rectify the congenital heart defect. After the surgery, the patient was transferred to an observation room for recovery and was later discharged after confirming no post-surgery complications.

Saudi German Hospital Aseer stands true to the brand’s ethos of ‘Caring like family’ and aims to provide distinguished medical services to positively impact the health of the community.
